Profielintroductie

I am a Public International Law candidate (LLM, University of Groningen) with a focused specialisation in Business & Human Rights, Human Rights Due Diligence, and ESG compliance. What drives me is the space where international law meets corporate accountability, translating treaty obligations, the UNGPs, and CSDDD requirements into practical frameworks that actually change how companies operate.

I graduated from National Law University Jabalpur with a CGPA of 9.45/10, and I am now completing my LLM at Groningen, graduating July 2026. I am actively seeking roles in sustainability, ESG, human rights due diligence, and responsible sourcing across Europe in consulting, corporate sustainability teams, international organisations, and NGOs.

Werkervaring

My experience spans international legal research, human rights advocacy, and corporate law. I have conducted research assistantships at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), the University of Amsterdam, and Xi'an Jiaotong University (China), focusing on international law, linguistics and colonialism, and customary international law respectively. I interned at the Supreme Court of India under Justice Rajesh Bindal, gaining litigation and judicial reasoning experience. I also worked with Bachpan Bachao Andolan on child labour and bonded labour cases, and with Kathpalia & Partners on arbitration law in New Delhi. My research has resulted in a published book chapter in an Edward Elgar Research Handbook on EU Energy Law and Policy.
