Profundo provides action-oriented research, advice, and capacity building for civil society and public organisations. We are a mission-driven organisation, aiming to contribute to a socially just and sustainable world.

To advance sustainability and social justice, many stakeholders need to change course: governments, corporations, financial institutions, and consumers in the Global North, to name some of the crucial actors. For all of them, changing course is difficult and inhibited by existing rules and regulations, engrained habits and practices, outdated technologies, and vested interests.

We see it as our role to unravel the facts, analyse the patterns, expose the vested interests, and identify the opportunities for change. This helps our clients and partners to exert influence where it is most effective.
